Q: What is "I've Never Done That"?
A: "I've Never Done That" is my project of doing one new thing every single day in 2011.

Q: Why would you do that?
A: Near the end of 2010, I thought about different ways I wanted to change my life. I knew I wanted to try new things. I wanted to be a little more adventurous. I wanted to stretch the limits of my comfort zone. Also, despite being a part of the movie industry, I realized that I had not seen so many wonderful, classic and well-received films (like Casablanca, Gone With The Wind, or Schindler's List). I had procrastinated enough on these things, and I knew if I had just made a general New Year's Resolution, I would likely not stick to it for long unless I quantified my goal. One new thing a week didn't seem significant enough, so I thought, "maybe I should try one new thing a day". I knew this goal would be very ambitious, but it could be manageable if I mixed in minor items with some of the bigger ones.

Q: Isn't that hard?
A: Yes, it is.

Q: What's the hardest part about the project?
A: The two most difficult things are the planning and the writing. The planning of the project is essential to its success, but figuring out when certain items fit into my schedule takes a lot of work. I wanted to blog about all the things I did so that at the end of the year I'd basically have a scrapbook to remember them all, but it is very time consuming composing my posts and managing the pictures and videos.
