Checked Out The Bellagio Conservatory And Botanical Gardens

“Art is the unceasing effort to compete with the beauty of flowers - and never succeeding.”
Gian Carlo Menotti

Not far from the hotel lobby of the Bellagio, there’s a very colorful courtyard filled with brilliant flowers.  They change what they have here seasonally, so we got to see the summer display.

I really liked this twisty tree they had when we first walked in.  There were some awesome birds made out of flowers at the base.

I tried to feed him, but he wouldn’t move.

They had a very colorful Ferris Wheel.

This “painting” was pretty cool.  It’s modeled after an oil painting they have in one of their galleries.

This 15-foot merry go round was a replica of a 19th century one.  They even had it spinning, but unfortunately no one was allowed to ride it.

“No ticket.”

The big centerpiece of the area was the Liberty Bell, and if you watch “How I Met Your Mother”, you’ll know why I’m trying to lick it.

This was a nice little spot that isn’t normally what you see on the Las Vegas Strip.  It’s so well lit and colorful, and it was very nice.  Best of all, it is kid-friendly and totally free of charge.

Thanks for the good times, fabulous Las Vegas!
