There is a spot on Lincoln Blvd in the Presidio that is a designated viewing area for an awesome overlook of
Crissy Field. It's a nice place with benches, a post about the history of Crissy Field, and even some parking spaces, and it's right next to where the Golden Gate Bridge starts. I never even knew this place existed before, but J and I discovered it while looking at a Presidio map.

After work today, it was just a beautiful and peaceful place to go by myself and be alone with my thoughts. Another thing that's just so fanstastic about this spot is that you can see so many aspects of the city from here:

The buildings of downtown

Alcatraz

The boats in the bay

And even a bit of nature

It's an amazingly beautiful spot, and I was fortunate enough to be the only one there at the time. It was really nice.

I feel very lucky to call San Francisco home, and it's places like the Crissy Field Overlook that remind me of the different aspects of this city that make it truly great.
