Made Star Wars Inspired Ice Cubes
November 10, 2011 Filed in: Entertainment
Princess Leia: I love you.
Han Solo: I know.
This was a quick one. I bought an import ice cube tray that made cubes in the shape of Han Solo in Carbonite.
I filled it up with water and stuck it in the freezer.
Then, I waited. The cubes didn't come out exactly how I wanted them because when water freezes too quickly, the ice crystals make a whitish color when they form, but I could definitely make out the shape.
After all these years, I still love Star Wars. The licensing of the franchise is truly an amazing thing. This is one of those great products, and I think I might make something a little more colorful later.
