Watched Billy Wilder's 1959 Comedy "Some Like It Hot"

"Does that mean you play that very fast music... jazz?"
"Yeah. Real hot."
"l guess some like it hot."
Some Like It Hot is number 22 on the AFI 100, and it was selected as the greatest American comedy by the AFI as well. Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon play two musicians named Joe and Jerry in Prohibition era Chicago.

After a big bust in a speakeasy they were playing in, they have a hard time finding work. They witness a big gangster mass murder and decide to get a job in an all female band. They board a train heading to Florida disguised as Josephine and Daphne.

Upon boarding the train, both of them become attracted to "Sugar Kane" (played by Marilyn Monroe), the band's vocalist and ukulele player. They fight for her attention while also trying to maintain their disguises.

After the train arrives in Florida, Joe assumes a second disguise as a millionaire to try to impress Sugar.

Tony Curtis and Marilyn Monroe are very entertaining together. They played off each other well, and it's fun to watch.

The music was great, the acting was brilliant, and the writing was both funny and clever. On top of being beautiful, Marilyn is also very funny in this movie.

I really enjoyed this film, and I very much look forward to seeing it again soon.
